Jaw angle (front)
jaw frontal angle
Smaller angles mean jawlines that run down steeply to a narrower chin; larger angles a flatter, wider lower jaw.
How it's measured
Angle at which the two jawlines meet below the chin. Each jawline runs from the jaw corner (gonion) to the side of the chin where its outline turns (chin point), and the angle is taken between the left and the right line.

What changes it
- Head turn or tilt changes it. Keep the head level and face the camera.
- Camera distance changes it: close-up selfies enlarge the middle of the face. Shoot from about 1.5 m and zoom in.
One number, one feature
One measurement describes one detail in one photo. Pose, lens and expression move it, and every reference range is an average from limited samples.
